Edit: Has wobble camera issue but I’ll post a link here as soon as a fix is released. Also there is no save-game issue. You just need an offline LIVE account. I had one left over from GoW but you can make one by selecting Guide from the main menu.
FIX FOR DRUNKEN CAM:
Cam is shaking? Close the game, and restart. Voila, perfectly playable!
Next time you start, it’ll have the shaky cam again.
Just close it and restart, perfectly playable again.
Works all the time.

HOW TO SAVE GAMES:
Unplug from the internet (literally pull the cable out while you play the game).
Make sure to close down RS Social Club before replugging it.
When the game starts or tries to autosave, it’ll tell you that you must be logged into an account.
Accept to log-in/create profile in Windows Live tab (WHITHIN THE GAME) and click on “Create OFFLINE account”
Create some fake account, this will only be seen by you on your computer (unless you’re stupid enough to try and play online with a cracked game).
There ya go, any questions?
Oh and “RMN40 error” or whatever is because you probably don’t have SP3 (winXP) or SP1 (Vista), both of which are available on Microsoft’s site.

GTA IV PC Works fine with Windows XP SP2!The trick is to let GTA think you have SP3 on. You can change/tweak what Service pack windows reports is installed by tinkering with the Registry.
Here is how: (Only do this if you like tinkering with the registry!)
Step 1: Run Regedit by Clicking on Start -> Run , type in regedit and press enter
Step 2: Make a backup of your registry (just in case)
Step 3: Browse to “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetContr olWindows”
Step 4: Modify the value of “CSDVersion” from “0×00000200″ (SP2) to the Windows XP SP3 value of “0×00000300″
Step 5: Close
